In early 2006, Beyond the Pale aired on Comedy Central and marked a turning point in Jim Gaffigan’s career. It was his first hour-long stand-up special and the beginning of two decades of comedy about food, family, and the everyday things we all obsess over.
To celebrate this milestone, Jim hand-selected three barrels that were filled twenty years ago as well. After two decades of slumbering in the hills of Tennessee, the barrels traveled to Kentucky where they were blended together and will be bottled in just a few short weeks.
The result will be an extraordinary 20-year-old Tennessee Bourbon with a color, depth, balance, and complexity worthy of the special it commemorates. This ultra-limited release from Fathertime is both a tribute and a thank-you to everyone who made this journey possible.

On January 29, 2006, Beyond the Pale first aired on Comedy Central. This was my first hour-long stand-up comedy special and would transform my career and life. To commemorate this 20-year milestone, I’ve bottled fine bourbon whiskey that has been aging gracefully since the year Beyond the Pale was released. Thanks to all who have supported me on this journey. I’m truly grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to talk with you about life and complain about my children for the past two decades.
